What I built

Four tools, built around a full-time producing job

Google Workspace with Apps Script, JavaScript and Python, and later LLM tooling from OpenAI and Anthropic. Search tools and parsers, mostly — the work was finding the manual tasks worth removing, not the code.

The idea

Every show kept its VFX shot list slightly differently, so the first question on any project was where the list even lived. I wanted one shape of sheet that every show used — and, the part that mattered, a way to ask it a question instead of reading it.

What it meant

A producer answers “is this shot in the film?” in seconds, on their own, without interrupting a coordinator mid-task. Multiply that by every version, every review and every client call.
